Theatre Theme: Fantasy Spectacular Once again Scouts and Guides from across the North Shore and wider Auckland took to the stage to present this family show. The theme for the 2008 show was “Fantasy Spectacular”. Knights & Maidens, Princes & Princesses, plus some interesting twists on some well known fairytale characters. A fun filled evening for the whole family. Comedy, singing and dancing with the exuberance only youth can bring. This was the 34th season of North Shore Gang Show. Directed by Steve Hurley the 77 strong cast of the show was made up entirely of uniformed members of the Scout & Guide associations. Gang Show is a training activity that encourages all cast to reach their potential though theatre. Gang Show had its beginnings in London in 1932 and it is said that every night of the year somewhere in the world a Gang Show is playing. North Shore Gang Show itself a Shore Theatrical Icon since 1959, is proud to continue this tradition. Coming Soon Celebrating 50 Years on the North Shore |
